Blogmas Day 15: Ranking Marvels 2021 New releases 😊

On the 22nd of May I wrote a post ranking all of the Pixar movies which was so much fun and so this week I thought I would rank all of the Marvel shows that have aired on Disney+ this year and also the Marvel movies that have been released this year as well ❤️

Would you rather- Marvel Edition :)

I have done similar posts to this with a Disney Would You Rather and a Christmas Would You Rather so I thought today I would do a Marvel Would You Rather 🙂

1. Would you rather be born with powers or get powers later in life? I think I would rather get powers later in life because then I would be mature enough to use them for the greater good and I would appreciate them more 🙂
2. Would you rather have a suit designed by Tony Stark or Shuri? I think definitely Shuri- she is such a badass and the suit she designs for Black Panther is absolutely AMAZING!
3. Would you rather be an Avenger or a Guardian? Being a Guardian seems like so much fun!
4. Of the Six infinity stones which would you rather have? I think I would rather have the space stone because I could just teleport to different planets 🙂
5. Of everyone killed by Thanos who would you rather save? ……. Loki……… the thing is everyone who was killed in the snap was bought back anyway and technically Nat and Iron Man weren’t killed by Thanos because they sacrificed themselves so I wouldn’t be able to save them.
6. Would you rather fly on Ant Mans Ant friend or using Falcons wings? Falcons wings! It would be so much fun
7. Would you rather be able to control minds like Wanda or control feelings like Mantis? I think I would rather be able to control minds because with that you could also control feelings by what you are putting in their mind also Wanda is very very powerful so if I had even a quarter of her powers it would be pretty cool 🙂
8. Would you rather hang out with Baby Groot or Teenage Groot? Baby groot- he’s so cute!!
9. Would you rather run like Quicksilver or shrink and fly like Wasp? I think I’d rather be able to fly because then I could fly to different countries and save on airplane tickets 🙂
10. Would you rather wield Thor’s Mjolnir or Stormbreaker? I feel like wielding Mjolnir has such significance that I would want to wield Mjolnir but it depends whether I was worthy :p

The Film that Made Me Fall Head First: Black Panther 🙂 I went to see this film with two of my flatmates during my third year of university and ended up bingeing the series after that 🙂

April Favourites 2021 :)

This month has been really filled with doing lots of GYSTing, shopping and also listening to a lot of music so this monthly favourites is mainly music I have been loving with a few other bits thrown in as well 🙂

I’m not pretty- Jessia: It was actually my friend Hannah who sent me this song and I love it so much and have been listening to it non-stop! 🙂 I will definitely be checking out more of her music when I get the chance 🙂

Deja Vu- Olivia Rodrigo: I absolutely loved Olivias first release Drivers Licence and she has absolutely smashed it out of the park with her follow up song Deja Vu 🙂 I’m so so excited for her album to be released and I would highly recommend her music to any Taylor Swift fans! The video is also so clever 🙂

Dancing with the devil- Demi Lovato: As many of you will know from previous posts I am a big Demi Lovato fan so have been listening to her new album on repeat 🙂 I love this album as it is so raw and might be one of my favourite albums of hers! I actually have a post coming out in the next few weeks about some of my favourite songs and lyrics from this new album so be sure to keep an eye out for that 🙂

Fearless (Taylors version)- Taylor Swift: I am also a big Taylor Swift fan so am so excited for all of her re-released albums especially if this one is anything to go by!! I love the songs From the Vault and also hearing how her voice has matured 🙂 I wrote a post a few weeks ago about some of my favourite songs from this re-released album and also some of my favourite lyrics 🙂

Lazy Baby- Dove Cameron: I have loved Dove Cameron since she was on Liv and Maddie and have followed her music career since then-I love her music and this one of no different 🙂 I’m so excited for when she finally releases an album or EP 🙂

The Circle: I actually didn’t watch the first season of the Circle and still haven’t however I really started to get into the show during the second season and also watched the Circle USA Season 1 which was sooo good so when this season started I actually didn’t start the show until about a week in because I didn’t know it was back but then I was hooked!! I think my favourite people were Nana Dot (Scott Paige) and Syed (Hashu)

Chocolate Little Moons- My friend Barghavi actually introduced me to these a few weeks ago as she came round with boxes of Mango, Chocolate and Matcha Little Moons that she had bought for us to try 🙂 THEY WERE SO NICE!! I liked the Mango ones but the chocolate ones were AMAZING!

Falcon and the Winter Soldier- I am a big Marvel Nerd and so have been absolutely LOVING this series 🙂 Bucky is one of my favourite Marvel characters and seeing him and Sam interact is so cute! As I’m writing this post I have watched up until Ep 5 of the series and am so excited for the series finale on Friday!! 🙂

Last week was the final episode of WandaVision on Disney+ and I absolutely loved it and I’m so excited for Falcon and the Winter Soldier which comes out I believe next week!! Marvel Cinematic Universe Tag :)

I think that because there haven’t been any new Marvel movies coming out recently due to the Black Widow movie being postponed I have sort of become out of touch with my love of Marvel however Wandavision on Disney + has really reignited my love for all things Marvel so I thought I would start writing some Marvel content again starting with a Marvel tag which I believe was created by Christine Smith

• How were you introduced into the MCU fandom?- I was introduced to the Marvel fandom I think by my parents as we watched I think the first two Thor movies and the first Captain America and Avengers during family movie nights however I didn’t start to really LOVE Marvel until I went to see Black Panther during my third year of university with two of my friends which then inspired me to binge watch most of the other movies before Infinity War came out and we went to see it once all of our exams had finished 🙂
• What’s your favorite Marvel film? I think the Marvel movies I always go back to would be either the Guardians or Captain America Civil War 🙂
• Top favorite Marvel character? Ooooo I would have to say Spiderman if I had to pick just one however I am Team Iron Man 🙂
• If you were transported into the MCU and had to trade places with one of the superheroes, who would you choose? I think I would have to pick Wanda as she is just such a Badass!
• What are some of your favorite quotes from the films? SOO MANY!!

Bedroom wall tour :)

One of my favourite parts of my bedroom is my Bedroom wall as it has some really special bits that mean a lot to me 🙂 It is a combination of all of my favourite things and the different parts of my personality 🙂

The top right section of my wall has my Leadley poster that I got from SITC which I also got signed when I met Bethan at her merchstand which is awesome 🙂 Underneath the poster is a picture frame from my friend Hannah which was so lovely 🙂 It has some of my favourite pictures of the two of us together but I do need to update it 🙂 Beside the frame is 3 prints from a specific stand in Camden which sells mugs, t-shirts, coasters and mugs and is my favourite stand in Camden 🙂 Underneath the frame is a light up G and a light up T (my initials) and also two little signs from friends 🙂

Underneath that section is a sign which says “Bright like glitter Bubbly like Champagne’ that I got from my Barghavi for one of my birthdays, some more of those prints from Camden, a sign that says I Love You To The Moon and Back which my mum got me because it was one of her favourite books to read to me as a child 🙂 I then have a little Harry Potter section which I love 🙂

In the Top Middle of my wall is another Love me to the moon and back sign and next to that is a drawing my friend Anna did for me just after I had my back surgery with one of my favourite quotes from one of my favourite Disney movies 🙂 I then have a Disney cell of the classic princesses and some more Disney prints, finally at the top I have two cards/postcards from my Barghavi which are absolutely beautiful and then a little sign about my love of dogs 🙂

In the middle of my wall I have some tickets from some of my favourite musicals, a musical themed poster with some of my favourite musical lyrics, some travel and Little Mix postcards and then two postcards from my brother when he went with his fiancees family to South Africa 🙂 Then next to my musical poster are polaroids of some of the youtubers and celebrities I’ve met 🙂

At the bottom middle of my room is a print that I got for Christmas from my mum with a picture of Maya which I absolutely love 🙂 then underneath that I have a picture that Ansha (a friend from high school) drew me of my favourite 5SOS lyric for my 18th birthday 🙂 I then have next to my Maya print a pinboard with loads of Disney Pins that I have started collecting during lockdown and then underneath is a mini scratch map 🙂

At the top right of my wall is a Dodie poster that again I got from SITC, next door to that are two prints from the Camden stand, a Dream neon light which came from New Look I believe, underneath that is a mickey and minnie ear little sticker that were on top of my cake for my 21st birthday from Hannah and Anna and then finally a frame with pressed flowers that I got from Hannah 🙂

By my light switch I a little Marvel section where I have a poster that I got given when I went to the opening weekend at the Leicester square cinema of Marvel Avengers Endgame 🙂 Underneath that is a poster with the different infinity stones on and stickers of some of my favourite moments from the MCU 🙂

Finally at the bottom right of my wall I have another musical poster with more stickers from some more of my favourite musical quotes and then I have 3 wooden letters with a G for Grace, an E for my old dog Ellie and then finally I have a M for Maya 🙂

What I have/will be watching on Disney +

On the 24th of March Disney + finally released in the UK meaning that of course since I have been spending a lot of time at home I have been watching some of their original releases and also just some of the movies and TV shows that are on the streaming site so I thought I would write down some of the things I have been watching 🙂

1. Lady and the Tramp- Earlier this year Disney made a remake of the classic Lady and the Tramp so my Mum and I sat down and decided to watch it and it was soooo cute!!!! The two dogs who play lady and the tramp are so adorable and I have always loved the songs from the original film and they also changed a few of them as well 🙂
2. Newsies- As many of you will already know I am a big musical fan so any film with music in it is always going to be a hit for me 🙂 I have been meaning to watch the Disney film Newsies since listening to the Broadway soundtrack of the musical version so I will definitely be watching this at some point in the near future 🙂
3. Wizards of Waverly Place- I am a big Selena Gomez fan and this was one of my favourite TV shows when I was younger and I absolutely loved the Wizards of Waverly Place film and put it on record so that I could watch it when it first came out and watched the DVD so much I believe it is now broken! When I saw it on Disney + I knew I would have to binge watch the original series 🙂
4. Marvel Marathon- I am a big Marvel fan so the fact that all of the Marvel movies except Spiderman and Hulk are on Disney + is amazing and I feel like lockdown is the perfect opportunity to have a Marvel movie marathon!
5. Disney Classics Marathon- I have actually written a blog post all about my Disney Classics collection and found out that there at 17 Disney classics that I haven’t seen!  So I will definitely be catching up on my Disney classics 🙂

I actually went to see Avengers Endgame in London on the opening weekend at the Odeon in Leicester Square with one of my best friends Birunda 🙂 We are both Marvel nerds and it was a fantastic day and I absolutely loved the movie!
