My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 12 recap and Chapter 13 aims :)

On the 9th of July 2020 I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and now I’ve just finished Chapter 12 of my Changing My Life series and am very excited to get started on my Chapter 13 aims πŸ™‚ Chapter 12 has mainly involved getting back into work because I have been off for so long!! Its been so amazing getting back to work and being around the animals again and am definitely learning a lot πŸ™‚

Favourite quote of the month: You only live once but if you do it right once is enough πŸ™‚

The lockdown in the UK has completely eased now with everything opening up to full capacity so the last few months have included lots and lots of lovely things πŸ™‚ I have been to the theatre, to the beach for a few days, to the spa, to a concert and lots of other lovely, amazing things with friends and family ❀ I have also been working full time again for about 3 and a half months which has been really cool!!

I am actually not going to go through my goals that I wrote for the last chapter because it has been so long that a lot of them are no longer relevant and I feel like a bit of a reset is needed so I’m just going to write out some bits that I want to do before December so I am going to give myself a month and a half to get all of this stuff done πŸ™‚

  • Cook as much as possible and do a little bit of baking
  • Sort my bedroom out
  • Update my CV and Linkedin
  • Complete my Halloween Bucket List
  • Start writing Blogmas posts
  • Spend as much time as possible with friends and family πŸ™‚
  • Try and complete my work objectives and watch work videos

Let me know in the comments if you can think of anything else I should add to my list πŸ™‚

My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 11 recap and Chapter 12 aims :)

On the 9th of July 2020 I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and now I’ve just finished Chapter 11 of my Changing My Life series and am very excited to get started on my Chapter 12 aims πŸ™‚ Chapter 11 has been really focused on seeing friends and also going back to work full time for the first time since the end of March 2020!

Favourite quote of the month: You are the artist of your own life, don’t give the paintbrush to somebody else πŸ™‚

This month restrictions in the UK have started to lift even more with cinemas re-opening and also we are now allowed to have people inside our houses which has been amazing because the weather hasn’t been the best throughout the month of June either unfortunately 😦 I have seen a few of my friends this month which has been lovely although the main thing that has been taking up my time this month is the fact that I have gone back to work full time πŸ™‚ I have been trying to also complete my goals however I have been very busy but its been so cool πŸ™‚

  • Cook 1 new thing per week- The first thing I cooked this month was a Thai Yellow Meatball curry which was absolutely delicious! I love Thai curries but have never cooked one before so that was really cool and then the second one was a Beef Rogan josh which was pretty good but definitely not my favourite curry that I have made so far πŸ™‚ The next week I made some Sweet Chilli beef and then finally a Halloumi and Sweet Potato curry which was so tasty! I have made a curry every week this month I think so this week I made a Keema Style Beef and then a Chicken Thigh Chow Mein πŸ™‚ Finally in the last week of the month I made an oven baked Sweetcorn and Chorizo risotto, a chicken and plum stir fry and finally a chicken fried rice πŸ™‚
  • Continue working out regularly and re-start my yoga journey- I did do some yoga this month however I wasn’t able to be that productive in that respect so I want to try and make sure to try and pick it up even more next month πŸ™‚ I did do some workouts this month as well- I went for a run at the start of the month, did a few IFIT workouts and at the end of the month I went climbing twice with my brother which was so so much fun! πŸ™‚
  • Continue sorting out my bedroom, go through my make-up and GYSTing- One of the main things that I did with regards to sorting out my bedroom this month was I organised my bookshelves and moved some things around to give myself more space for my books πŸ™‚ I moved my theatre programmes from my book bookshelf over to my DVD bookshelf meaning that I had another shelf on my book bookshelf for all of the new books I have been buying recently πŸ™‚ I then went through my make-up and tried to get rid of anything that I knew I would no longer use or that has been in my collection for a long time so would be out of date πŸ™‚
  • See my friends, Skype Hannah and Anna and celebrate fathers day- Due to the fact that I went back to work this month I didn’t get to see my friends as much as I wanted to however I did manage to see a few of my friends which was amazing πŸ™‚ I skyped my two friends Hannah and Anna early in the month and we organised a trip to Windsor for the first weekend in August which I’m so excited for as I haven’t seen my friend Anna since January 2020 πŸ™‚ I also went out for lunch with my friend Barghavi, for an afternoon tea with my Mum and went for dinner with my friend Dorothy πŸ™‚ For Fathers Day we had a family meal which was so so nice- we ordered a take-away and just chilled at home πŸ™‚ I also have been looking after my Tomato plants who are getting really big and also got my first Covid 19 vaccination!! πŸ™‚
  • Complete the Cyprus chapter of my Nans travel diary :)- I actually haven’t had a chance to work on the Travel diaries this month as I have been so so busy with work.
  • Go back to work and get back into my work flow, continue watching work and training videos and take Maya to puppy class :)- I did in fact watch quite a few work and training videos this month which were all very interesting πŸ™‚ Mayas puppy class has now moved back into the hall which is really cool as it is now not weather dependent and she has been doing really well πŸ™‚ I also did some agility stuff with her in the garden which was so much fun and I have seen my Aunts puppies a few times this month as well πŸ™‚ I went back to work on the 11th of June and it has been so nice being back and using my skills again πŸ™‚
  • Reach 1700 followers on my blog and watch some photography videos- Although I didn’t reach 1700 followers on my blog this month I did reach 1674 which is just amazing!!! I’m so grateful to every single person who follows me on here and I can’t thank you all enough ❀ ❀ ❀

I have had such a lot of fun these last few months working through my goals and sorting my life out and am so ready to continue on this trajectory and get more goals done next month πŸ™‚

  • Cook 1 new thing per week
  • Continue working out regularly and re-start my yoga journey
  • Continue sorting out my bedroom, put away all of my birthday presents and cards
  • Celebrate mine and my mums birthday and see my friends πŸ™‚
  • Continue getting back into the flow at work, watching training and work videos and spending time with MyMy

My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 10 recap and Chapter 11 aims :)

On the 9th of July 2020 I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and now I’ve just finished Chapter 10 of my Changing My Life series and am very excited to get started on my Chapter 11 aims πŸ™‚ Chapter 10 has been really focused on seeing friends in a Covid friendly way and GYSTING and organising my space and also quite a bit of photography πŸ™‚

Favourite quote of the month: Live a life that would make you jealous πŸ™‚

This month restrictions in the UK have started to lift even more with restaurants re-opening inside which has been amazing because the weather hasn’t been the best throughout the month of May unfortunately 😦 Restaurants being open inside has meant that I have been able to meet up with a few friends that I haven’t seen in over a year in a Covid safe way which has been lovely and have also been able to carry on with some of the creative ways I have been interacting with friends and family who I can’t see in person for example- book clubs with one of my friends, and doing Yoga classes and then chatting about them with my brother πŸ™‚ Next month I will be going back to work after a year and a half off which is amazing and I’m very excited about that πŸ™‚

  • Cook 1 new thing per week and also bake something new this month :)- I have actually managed to do this and more this month which has been so so much fun πŸ™‚ I baked some chocolate cookies early in the month using a cookie packet that I got from Barghavi for Christmas so I wanted to use it before it was out of date πŸ™‚ I used the penguin cookie cutter that came with the packet and they came out so so cute! The first thing I made from Hello Fresh was Thai Style Beef which was delish πŸ™‚ I also made a Chicken and spinach curry and chicken noodles that week πŸ™‚ The next week I made a Bacon and Butternut Squash risotto which was amazing and also a chicken curry which was so nice! The next week I made a pork ragu followed by a Chickpea curry which was my least favourite of the curries I made this month πŸ™‚ The Thursday of that week was my Dads birthday so I made Hoisin style Beef which was AMAZING!! SO GOOD! In the last week of May I made a Chicken and Plum stir fry and a Mexican style beef Pasta bake πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
  • Continue working out regularly and do Yoga 5 times a week :)- I have been slacking slightly on my workouts this month and on my Yoga- I have done four runs this month and been on the I-FIT 5 times throughout the month but I would have liked to run a bit more so I’m going to try and get back into running next month πŸ™‚ I started off the month strong doing yoga 5 times a week but slowly but surely it dwindled off because my brother has been busy and I am not attempting to do a challenge at the moment but I’m going to try and get back into it next month πŸ™‚
  • Continue sorting out my bedroom and GYSTING :)- The first thing I did GYSTing wise was take two of my outfits to the dry cleaners to be altered- the jumpsuit needed a zip put in at the back and the buttons at the front sewn up and the dungarees needed taking up because I am small πŸ˜› The next thing I did was sort out my bedroom wall as I wanted to put up three Displates that I ordered which I am so so happy with and also add my small displate to the HP section of that wall πŸ™‚ They look AMAZING and I love them πŸ™‚ I then updated my CD collection because I had a few new ones which needed homes so I had a bit of a sort out πŸ™‚ The final part of my sort out was to sort out my bathroom drawer as it was an absolute mess!
  • See my friends and also celebrate my Dad’s birthday :)- I have been to see lots of friends this month! The first lot of friends I saw were Chiara and Poon who were my flatmates in my third year of university πŸ™‚ I hadn’t seen them since early 2020 so it was so so nice to see them and catch up πŸ™‚ I went for an afternoon tea in a garden centre for lunch with my Mum which was so nice πŸ™‚ On the 16th of May I went out with my friends Ria and Ellie which was so much fun and we went for a Roast dinner πŸ™‚ On the 20th of May its my Dads birthday so we celebrated with some presents, got Maya dressed up and chilled and had dinner with my brothers the next day which was lovely to get the whole family back together πŸ™‚ On the 21st I went out with my friend Hannah to London and we went to the Sky Gardens and then for lunch at Elan Cafe which is gorg and then on the 29th Hannah and I went to the Selfie factory, Hampstead heath and then to a Rose Festival in Covent Garden πŸ™‚ The next day I met up with my friend Dorothy for lunch in Wembley which was so nice and then on the last day of May I went to Selsey which is a beach where my Nan has a caravan for the day πŸ™‚ Throughout May I also met up with my two friend Birunda and Barghavi and did various things with them as well πŸ™‚
  • Write up a chapter of my Nans travel diary πŸ™‚ – I managed to write about my Great Grandmas adventures in Cyprus in January 1972 which sounded absolutely incredible πŸ™‚ The few places I managed to write about included Kyrenia, Salamis, Trikoma, Lefkosa and Famagusta πŸ™‚
  • Complete 4 work webinars, continue watching work and training videos and take Maya to puppy class and teach her a new trick :)- I have been working with Maya on her training which has been so much fun- she has gone back to puppy class this month which she has really enjoyed and then we also have been working on her weave which is so cool πŸ™‚ She has had lots of other dogs round this month as well for playdates which has been so much fun πŸ™‚ I have also watched lots of webinars, work videos and training videos πŸ™‚
  • Reach 1650 followers, do a photoshoot and also watch some camera videos :)- I did actually reach 1650 followers a few weeks ago which is absolutely AMAZING and I’m so grateful to everyone who reads my posts and follows me ❀ I didn’t get around to watching any photography videos however I did manage to do two photoshoots with my friend Hannah πŸ™‚ We did one day of photoshoots in the Sky Gardens and around that area and then the week after we went to the Selfie Factory and then Hampstead heath πŸ™‚

I have had such a lot of fun these last few months working through my goals and sorting my life out and am so ready to continue on this trajectory and get more goals done next month πŸ™‚

  • Cook 1 new thing per week
  • Continue working out regularly and re-start my yoga journey
  • Continue sorting out my bedroom, go through my make-up and GYSTing
  • See my friends, Skype Hannah and Anna and celebrate fathers day
  • Complete the Cyprus chapter of my Nans travel diary πŸ™‚

This month restrictions in the UK have started to lift with non-essential shops re-opening and also restaurants re-opening outside which has meant that I have been able to meet up with a few friends in a Covid safe way which has been lovely and have also been able to carry on with some of the creative ways I have been interacting with friends and family who I can’t see in person for example Skypes, book clubs with one of my friends, and doing Yoga classes and then chatting about them with my brother πŸ™‚ Next month I will be meeting up with some more friends, cooking and carrying on with workouts xx

  • Cook something new once a week- I have definitely managed to do this and more which has been so great because we have still been getting the Hello Fresh meals which are so tasty and relatively easy recipes πŸ™‚ My first recipe was Sweet Chilli Chicken which was delish ❀ I then made Sausage Skewers with potato wedges (the potato wedges were so good) and Halloumi and vegetable pasta which was SOOO AMAZING!! I then made a Chilli and a Roasted butternut Squash curry which was so amazing and I think my favourite curry I’ve made so far πŸ™‚ The next week I made Halloumi tacos (can you tell I love Halloumi :P), Korma curry and Chipotle Spiced Chicken which was pretty spicy but still tasty πŸ™‚ Finally I made Chicken Thigh and Chorizo pasta, Chicken chow mein and Asian style sticky pork which was so good and the first time I have actually cooked pork πŸ™‚
  • Continue sorting out a different part of my bedroom every week and start gathering stuff for the charity shop and Depop: This month I have managed to have quite a few sort outs of my bedroom- I had a sort out of my important documents folder, organised my camera equipment, organised the bottom of my big wardrobe and also had an organise of my other wardrobe πŸ™‚ My final organisation was to organise my skincare drawer which I have been meaning to do for ages! My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 8 recap and Chapter 9 aims :)

On the 9th of July 2020 I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and now I’ve just finished Chapter 8 of my Changing My Life series and am very excited to get started on my Chapter 9 aims πŸ™‚ Chapter 8 has been really focused on really settling into my new workout routine, celebrating a few special occasions and GYSTING and organising my space πŸ™‚

Favourite quote of the month: Believe you can and you’re halfway there πŸ™‚

England is in the midst of its third nationwide lockdown which is slowly starting to lift at the start of the next month which is very very exciting!! I have made some plans to meet up (within the Covid rules ofc) with some friends next month which is so exciting and will also hopefully be carrying on with some of the creative ways I have been interacting with friends and family who I can’t see in person for example Skypes, book clubs with one of my friends, and doing Yoga classes and then chatting about them with my brother πŸ™‚

  • Cook something new once a week :)- I have been really really enjoying cooking this month and have actually cooked twice a week most weeks πŸ™‚ We have been having a Hello Fresh box delivered every week for the past month as we had a discount code which allowed us to get a discount on our first 4 boxes πŸ™‚ I have made Sweet and sour chicken, different kinds of wraps, a chicken curry, hoisin chicken with rice, speedy chicken noodles, a ricotta pasta and a bacon pasta, a pad thai and finally a chicken curry on naan bread type dish πŸ™‚
  • Sort out a different part of my room every week πŸ™‚ – The first part of my bedroom that I organised was my electronics drawer that was just a muddle of cords and old electronics so that is now looking a lot more organised πŸ™‚ I then organised my notebook drawer which was already pretty organised to be honest but I had a look through to see what notebooks I actually have because I can be a bit of a notebook fiend who hoards notebooks but never actually uses them! (please tell me someone can relate to this- they’re just so pretty and I don’t want to ruin them!) I then tackled my PJ drawer which was an absolute mess that wouldn’t shut so that is now looking a lot more organised πŸ™‚ Finally I organised my two hair drawers which were a complete disaster! My mum is a hairdresser who also works in a beauty department so I am often getting given different products to try which is lovely but also means that my beauty drawers are very often full and messy!
  • Celebrate Barghavi and Billys birthday and also Mothers day :)- The first birthday for me to celebrate in March was my friend Barghavi’s birthday so we organised for her to come over and spend the day with my Aunts dog Luna who we had looked after while Barghavi was isolating here in November πŸ™‚ I also baked some Biscoff muffins which are her favourite and put up some balloons and banners as well and it was a really nice chill day πŸ™‚ My brother Billys birthday was actually the same day as Mothers day so we organised for my two brothers to come round for a Linner (lunch/dinner) in the garden which was so so lovely πŸ™‚
  • Run twice a week and do Yoga at least 4 times a week :)- I have actually managed to stick to this which I am so proud of myself for πŸ™‚ I have been going on a bit of a health journey recently and trying to find a good balance of food and exercise etc and have been really enjoying pushing myself πŸ™‚
  • Continue working on my training knowledge, teach Maya a new trick and do a work webinar every week :)- I have been working with Maya three times a week just doing some obedience training which I have really really enjoyed and during this time I have managed to teach Maya a new trick- bow πŸ™‚ We are still working on all of the basics and the few newer tricks we have been learning such as hold, beg, weave and crawl πŸ™‚ I have also been watching and reading lots of training stuff which has been really informative and interesting πŸ™‚
  • Reach 1575 followers on my blog and do a photoshoot :)- During Barghavis birthday weekend she popped round on the Saturday which was so so nice and we actually did a photoshoot in my local woods which was so much fun especially since I had recently purchased some Taylor Swift inspired clothing based around her Folklore and Evermore albums πŸ™‚ I have also reached 1575 followers on my blog which is just absolutely AMAZING and I’m so grateful to every single person who follows me on here ❀ ❀

I have had such a lot of fun these last few months working through my goals and sorting my life out and am so ready to continue on this trajectory and get more goals done next month πŸ™‚

  • Cook something new once a week πŸ™‚
  • Continue sorting out a different part of my room every week and start gathering my stuff together for Charity shops and Depop πŸ™‚
  • Go shopping at some point in the month πŸ™‚
  • See some of my friends in person and have a skype session πŸ™‚
  • Continue working out semi regularly and complete the Spring Yoga challenge on the Bad Yogi Studio πŸ™‚
  • Continue working on my training knowledge, and do a work webinar every week πŸ™‚

Favourite quote of the month: Act as if what you do makes a difference- it does! πŸ™‚

England is in the midst of its third nationwide lockdown so I have had to come up with creative ways to interact with friends and family who I can’t see in person for example Skypes, organising a book club with one of my friends, sending cards and meeting up for walks and doing Yoga classes and then chatting about them with my brother πŸ™‚

  • Cook something new :)- I have actually cooked 4 different things this month as my Mum and I have been trying to cook more from scratch so have both been cooking quite a bit πŸ™‚ The first thing I made was a Chicken, leek and Tarragon Gnocchi which was absolutely delish! I then made a Korma which was still tasty but needed slightly more flavour so am going to try and make it again with a few more spices added in at some point πŸ™‚ I then made a Chicken Fajita fried rice which was delish!! Finally I made a tomato, spinach and feta egg scramble from a cookbook my brother bought me which was really nice πŸ™‚
  • Sort out 2 parts of my room :)- I have been really trying to be more minimalistic this year and working on not buying unnecessary things and a part of this has been slowly but surely organising my stuff πŸ™‚ This month I organised my workout drawer because I have been running and doing Yoga regularly this month so have been using this drawer quite a bit πŸ™‚ I have also had a sort-out of my plants and moved them around so that they are not so squished together on my windowsill and also got my mums friend who is a gardener to re-pot a few of them πŸ™‚ Finally I got around to putting together a Night Sky Projection kit that I bought from WHSmith before Christmas but hadn’t got around to putting it together πŸ™‚
  • Skype with Anna and Hannah :)- I actually Skyped Anna and Hannah on the 15th of February for Galentines day πŸ™‚ I had sent some galentines cards to a few of my friends and then did a galentines day with my friend Barghi where we went for a walk in the park and then a skype session with Anna and Hannah on the 15th which was so nice ❀ it was so nice to chat to them both and am hoping that we will get together for another Skype session soon πŸ™‚ xx
  • Celebrate Mayas birthday- Mayas birthday is the 2nd of February so I bought her lots of new toys, took her out for a nice walk, bought her a woofin with a candle and a little birthday bandana πŸ™‚ Barghavi also came round for a walk with Maya as well which was really nice πŸ™‚ I can’t believe she is now 2!
  • Run twice a week and complete the 30 day yoga challenge :)- On the 6th of January I started a 30 day yoga challenge with my brother Jamie and so during February we finished off the last few days while was really fun and has ignited a love of Yoga πŸ™‚ I have continued to do Yoga around 5ish days a week since completing the challenge which has been really fun πŸ™‚ I have also been running twice a week as well πŸ™‚
  • Continue working on my training knowledge and do a work webinar- I have trained with Maya three times a week this month as well which is always really fun and have also completed two work based webinars, watched three work based videos a week and have been watching training videos as well πŸ™‚

Blogmas Day 3: My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated- Chapter 5 recap and Chapter 6 aims :)

On the 9th of July I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and now I’ve just finished Chapter 5 of my Changing My Life series and am very excited to get started on my Chapter 6 aims- Chapter 5 was really focused on flowing from Halloween into Christmas but this month I would love to get really into the Christmas spirit!!

Favourite quote of the month: Make everyday a little less ordinary πŸ™‚

England went into another nationwide lockdown for the month of November and so my friend Barghavi actually moved in with me for the month which has been absolutely lovely! We have been chilling watching Netflix, spending lots of time with Maya, taking her for lots of walks and making/eating lots of good food πŸ™‚

  • Cook my pancetta risotto and also cook something new :)- On the 12th of November I cooked the Pancetta risotto for everyone for dinner which was absolutely lovely and then on the 23rd I made Sweet and Sour Chicken which was absolutely delicious if I do say do myself πŸ˜› I found the recipe on BBC good food and then adapted it to fit my needs as the original recipe called for raw chicken to be cooked by putting it in the microwave!! I used a wok for everything on the hob and added some different spices and I think it turned out ok πŸ™‚ I also made Biscoff muffins again which everyone seemed to enjoy πŸ™‚
  • Run 3k at least twice this month :)- I have been so so so off my running game this month and actually haven’t run at all!! Am definitely planning on getting back to it very soon though as I was really enjoying it and it would be such a shame to lose the stamina I did build up πŸ™‚
  • Do a Black Friday haul :)- I went a bit mental Black friday shopping this year, I did two massive hauls in Superdrug and Boots of their Christmas gifting which I’m going to show in a blog post later in the month but also I have been shopping at the Disney Store, ASOS, H&M and New Look for some new clothes πŸ™‚ I think I have ended up with 3 new tops, three new dresses, two new pairs of shoes and a skirt πŸ™‚
  • Continue working on my training knowledge and do a few work webinars- I have been watching quite a few training videos over the past month which has been really educational and also did a few days back at work which was really really fun and good for my mental health and brain power I think and I can’t wait till I’m back at work full time which will hopefully be soon! Due to the national lockdown in the UK Mayas training classes haven’t been happening but we have been working at home and my aunt actually gave me a competition style jump so I have been having a play with that which has been epic! πŸ™‚
  • Do some Christmas shopping, take down my Halloween decorations and start setting up for Christmas :)- I started to gradually take down my Halloween decorations over a few days at the start of November whilst watching the few remaining Halloween films on my lists. I also did quite a few Amazon orders and managed to pick up a few bits whilst shopping for the essentials on our rare trips out and have actually wrapped all of my Christmas presents now!! πŸ™‚ I will officially put up my tree on the 1st of December but I have started putting up a few Christmassy bit in my room a bit early and will have a post on the decor later in the month πŸ™‚
  • Write up a country from my Great Grandmas journal- This months country was the Island of Gozo which is a little Island near to Malta and has a very interesting story regarding Calypso (Atlases daughter) and Ulysses who she tried to lure onto this Island to kidnap him which is why there is a cave named after her here which is said to be beautiful!
  • Reach 1400 followers on here, have a photoshoot and start writing blogmas posts :)- I didn’t quite reach my goal of 1400 followers on here but I am so happy with the posts I have been writing recently and want to thank every single one of my followers for following me ❀ ❀ ❀ I’m aiming for 1500 by the end of the year but we’ll see πŸ™‚ I have also started writing my Blogmas posts which I always get very excited about! This will be my fourth year attempting Blogmas and my second time posting everyday for a month this year as I also posted everyday in July πŸ™‚ One of my posts later in the month is a Christmassy themed make-up look and I had such a lot of fun taking photos with Maya πŸ™‚

As December is going to be such a manic month and also I am not going to be posting in January I am going to combine my goals for the next two chapters and will update you guys in the first week of February πŸ™‚

  • Reach 1500 followers and complete Blogmas for my fourth year πŸ™‚
  • Decide and write my New Years Resolutions
  • Complete my Autumn/Winter Bucket List
  • Cook something new and bake at least two things πŸ™‚
  • Get back into my running game and re-start the couch-5K
  • Continue working on my training knowledge, teach Maya a new trick and work on her hold and do some work webinars
  • Have a mega GYST day- sort my laptop and organise my room and documents

Let me know in the comments what my aims for February should be and because it will be two months instead of one until I update you guys I may add some goals as I go πŸ™‚

My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 4 recap and Chapter 5 aims :)

My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 4 recap and Chapter 5 aims :)

On the 9th of July I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and now I’ve just finished Chapter 4 of my Changing My Life series and am very excited to get started on my Chapter 5 aims- Chapter 4 was really focused on Halloween but this month I would love to focus on getting back into a bit of a routine and also I am heading back to work for a few days which will be absolutely lovely πŸ™‚

Favourite quote of the month: When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers ’tis near Halloween’

This month has been filled with all things Halloween and lots of days out- I have been to Camden a few times, I went out for an afternoon tea, to a brunch in London where there was unlimited cheese and chocolate fondue which is amazing! Maya also had her spay which was really stressful but she is all recovered now πŸ™‚

  1. Send 2 friends something nice and cook something new πŸ™‚ – My friend Rias birthday is at the start of October so I actually sent her some gluten free flapjacks because when I went to visit her last we had them while we were there and they are so nice!! Then about halfway through the month I got an email that the Spectrum Frida Kahlo brushes were back in stock which I had tried to get the last time I was out so I very quickly ordered a set for myself and also a set for Barghavi πŸ™‚ I haven’t cooked anything this month however I did find a recipe for some Biscoff muffins which were to die for!

2. I have really been off my running game recently so I would love to  run at least 3K twice this month :)- I did manage to go for two runs this month however they were only 1.5km each as I haven’t been running in a while and my legs started to cramp up, I’m hoping that I can get back into my running game next chapter πŸ™‚

3. Go shopping in Primark and do an online order :)- I have actually managed to do a few hauls this month, I have been to Camden twice which was absolutely lovely as I love the stalls there, I did a massive order online on two of my favourite stores called Infinite Wonderland and Get.It.Creations, I also found an amazing shop called The House of Spells where they sell lots of Harry Potter stuff and finally I went to Oxford Street which was lovely πŸ™‚

4. Continue improving my training knowledge and also look after Maya following her Spay and finally take Maya back to Pets at home at some point :)- Maya had her Spay on the 4th of October so for around 10 days/2 weeks after she had to stay calm and wear a cone which was really funny- she would often forget she was wearing it so would get stuck or run into things! We went back to training classes in the hall for a few weeks which was really good πŸ™‚

5.  Have a Halloween day, take a selfie with my new Halloween Minnie ears and carve a pumpkin :)- I am such a big fan of Halloween and love getting in the spirit- I had a little Halloween weekend with Barghavi where we watched a few Halloween films, made Halloween cookies and carved pumpkins which was so much fun πŸ™‚

6. Write up a country from my Great Grandmas journal- The next country in my Great Grandmas journal is Malta which I absolutely loved writing about as it is somewhere I have never been and I absolutely love reading about different places πŸ™‚ This was the 5th country I have written out so I am now getting the hang of her handwriting and the way that she talks which makes it a lot easier!

7. Update my media kit, reach 1350 followers, photoshoot in Kew Gardens and finally email a brand regarding a collaboration- I updated my media kit early this month with all my new stats and have then sent off my new media kit to a brand called Infinite Wonderland which is a brand I absolutely love so fingers crossed!! I didn’t quite reach my goal of 1350 followers but am only 5 away! On the 10th of October Hannah and I headed to Kew Gardens for a lovely Halloween photoshoot which was so much fun OMG πŸ™‚

I had a lot of fun completing these goals and am so excited to start working on my Chapter 4 goals πŸ™‚

  1. Cook my pancetta risotto and also cook something new πŸ™‚
  2. Run 3k at least twice this month πŸ™‚
  3. Do a Black Friday haul πŸ™‚
  4. Continue working on my training knowledge and do a few work webinars
  5. Do some Christmas shopping, take down my Halloween decorations and start setting up for Christmas πŸ™‚
  6. Write up a country from my Great Grandmas journal
  7. Reach 1400 followers on here, have a photoshoot and start writing blogmas posts πŸ™‚

Let me know in the comments any ideas for my goals for the next chapter πŸ™‚

My Life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 3 recap and chapter 4 aims

My Life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 3 recap and chapter 4 aims

On the 9th of July I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and now I’ve just finished Chapter 3 of my Changing My Life series and am very excited to get started on my Chapter 4 aims- I feel like this Chapter hasn’t been quite as successful as some of the previous chapters so I’m excited to jump back into my planning and GYSTing πŸ™‚

Favourite Quote of the month: Just because something doesn’t do what you planned it to do doesn’t mean its useless

This month I’ve been feeling a bit meh but have had a few absolutely lovely days! I finally met Barghavis bird, spent a weekend with her cooking all delicious food, went vegetarian for a week, spent the day in Belgravia and Kensington with my friend Hannah which was absolutely lovely, spent a lot of time with MyMy, decorated for Halloween and had a lovely movie day watching Harry Potter and Disney πŸ™‚

  1. Hannah who some of you might know from some of my previous blog posts challenged me to be vegetarian for 5 days this month which was really interesting!! πŸ™‚ I did this relatively early in the month and really enjoyed the challenge of finding different stuff to eat πŸ™‚ You guys will have to check out Hannahs blog to find out how I got on! I anticipated that I would struggle a little bit but I don’t think I anticipated quite how hard it would be and had underestimated how much meat I eat!

2. My second aim of this Chapter was that I had started running 2x a week which I wanted to continue and to run 3k at least once a week however I definitely didn’t do this! I think I have run twice since that post for a few different reasons- weather, time of the month and a lack of motivation so I’m hoping to bring this aim into next chapter and will hopefully do a little bit better with it this time!

3. This month I continued my Chapter 2 aim of waking up before 9am and also aimed to drink 2l of water every day which I did pretty well I would say πŸ™‚ I have had a few very busy days which have required me to wake up really early and also I have been pretty good at remembering to drink my water πŸ™‚

4. I have officially decorated for Halloween now which I am absolutely loving! Its so much fun having all of the Halloweeny bits brightening up my room and have even written a blog post about my decorations πŸ™‚ I also bought Maya a vampire cat toy from Amazon which she absolutely loves πŸ™‚

5. I have been spending a lot of time with Maya this month working on training, I recently purchased an agility jump for her from Amazon which she absolutely loves so we have been having a lot of fun with that and also have been working on her retrieve and bed which are both coming along really well πŸ™‚

6. If you’ve been following my adventures during quarantine then you will know that I have been writing up my Great Grandmas journals from when she went travelling as a young woman and its been so much fun! This chapter I wrote out her trip to Portugal which was an absolutely amazing read πŸ™‚ I’ve been to Portugal before but didn’t get a chance to check out the sights when I went so it was really interesting to read all about it πŸ™‚

7. This Chapter I managed to reach 1,300 followers on this blog which is absolutely amazing and thank you to anyone who follows me on here ❀ I also wrote 2 Halloween themed blog posts, did a photoshoot with Hannah in Belgravia/Kensington and finally did a skillshare course on photography πŸ™‚

I had a lot of fun completing these goals and am so excited to start working on my Chapter 4 goals πŸ™‚

  1. Send 2 friends something nice and cook something new πŸ™‚
  2. I have really been off my running game recently so I would love to  run at least 3K twice this month πŸ™‚
  3.  Go shopping in Primark and do an online order
  4. Continue improving my training knowledge and also look after Maya following her Spay and finally take Maya back to Pets at home at some point πŸ™‚
  5.  Have a Halloween day, take a selfie with my new Halloween Minnie ears and carve a pumpkin πŸ™‚
  6. Write up a country from Great Grandmas journal
  7. Update my media kit, reach 1350 followers, photoshoot in Kew Gardens and finally email a brand regarding a collaboration

Let me know in the comments what goals you think I should have for the next chapter πŸ™‚

My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 2 recap and Chapter 3 aims :)

My life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 2 recap and Chapter 3 aims :)

On the 9th of July I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series and then on the 17th of August I uploaded my Chapter 1 recap and Chapter 2 aims πŸ™‚ Since then I have been hard at work on my Chapter 2 aims and am very excited to start work on my Chapter 3 aims which I started on the 10th of September πŸ™‚

Favourite quote of the month: Be a Pineapple- Stand Tall, Wear a crown and Be Sweet on the Inside

This month has been another crazy one! I went to Selsey (a beach where my family has a caravan) for 2 weekends which was so much fun πŸ™‚ My brother has moved out of the family home to move in with friends which means that the house has gone from 5 to 4 and then my Grandma has also moved out as well so the house is even quieter! I did a very exciting photoshoot which was a lot of fun and have seen a few friends that I haven’t seen in a long time πŸ™‚

  1. My first aim of the Second Chapter of this series was to recreate a Mac and Cheese dish that my brothers Fiancee had made for us before as she had given me the recipe πŸ™‚ My Mum asked if I could make this as a side dish for one of her dinners which I was absolutely delighted to do and I think it went down well because before I managed to grab a picture of the whole thing my Dad had already taken a portion!! A few weeks later I made it again and it went down just as well however this time I did manage to grab a picture before anyone served themselves!

2. I started off this aim rather slow and only ran once a week for the first two weeks however I then pulled it back and ran 3 times a week for the last 2 weeks so that I could catch up on myself which has been a lot of fun πŸ™‚ I can feel the improvement that running more than once a week brings as well because my pace has been picking up since I started running more πŸ™‚

3. I have managed to keep up my higher water intake on most of the days this Chapter with a few slip ups here and there where I have been out for the day and haven’t managed it but overall its definitely improving and so is my sleep schedule πŸ™‚ I have had to be up earlier on quite a few days this chapter anyway but have managed to wake up earlier every day even if I end up laying in bed on my phone for a while when I do!

4. I haven’t managed to sign up for a credit card as I have been doing some research and want to make sure I get the right one for me however I have had a sort out of some of my outgoings and seeing how I could save some money and also how much I can realistically save a month which was really interesting πŸ™‚

5. Maya started going back to her puppy classes at the end of Chapter 1 so since then hasn’t missed a class and has been really enjoying being back working on her obedience stuff πŸ™‚ I did some Agility work in the garden with Maya which was a LOT of fun and have started teaching her some new tricks πŸ™‚ During lockdown I started teaching her Bed and Hold so we have continued to work on them but have also added in Beg/Sit Pretty and also Crawl πŸ™‚ I have also been watching some training videos online as well as going through some of my Work Webinars on behaviour and training to improve my knowledge πŸ™‚

6. For Annas birthday Hannah and I ordered her some flowers and also some pancake mixes for her to make which looked absolutely amazing and we also zoomed with her while all eating a chinese take-away so that it felt like we were all at a restaurant together! We decided on Apple Crumble and Cinnamon as well as Rocky road πŸ™‚ For Ellie I decided to send her a fern plant as she really loves plants and had just moved so I thought it would be a nice addition to her house and went to see her before she starts her new job soon πŸ™‚

7. At the start of this chapter I signed up for 2 months free on Skillshare so have watched a few photography courses on there to try and improve my photography and editing skills πŸ™‚ I also had to do a photoshoot for some dresses that I had brought which was a lot of fun however I can’t post those photos yet as they were for a specific blog post which is being posted on Friday πŸ™‚

I have had such a lot of fun completing these goals and am so excited to start working on Chapter 3 πŸ™‚

  1. Hannah who some of you might know from some of my previous blog posts has challenged me to be vegetarian for 5 days this month which is going to be really interesting!! I’ll let you guys know how I get on and post some photos of some of my meals πŸ™‚
  2. I have started running 2x a week which I would love to continue and also run 3k at least once a week πŸ™‚
  3. I would like to continue the idea of getting up before 9am every day and also drinking 2l of water a day as I haven’t quite gotten the hang of it yet!
  4. Decorate my room for Halloween + buy Maya a Halloween themed toy πŸ™‚
  5. Continue improving my training knowledge and continue working on Mayas new tricks πŸ™‚
  6. Write up a country from Great Grandmas journal πŸ™‚
  7. Write a Halloween themed blog post, reach 1,300 followers on here and also continue improving my camera knowledge and put it into practice with a photoshoot πŸ™‚

I am going to do an update first thing in October as I would like to move the date back to the 1st of the month that I start each new chapter πŸ™‚

Let me know in the comments how you think I did and any goals you can think of for next month πŸ™‚
