Ed Sheeran and Champneys :)

Ed Sheeran and Champneys :)

My Mum and I are both big fans of Ed Sheeran so when we heard that his tour was coming to an end and that he wouldn’t be touring again for a long time we knew that we would have to go and see him on his last tour date πŸ™‚ On the 26th of August we jumped on a train up to Ipswich for his homecoming tour date- when we arrived we did a bit of shopping including the Pop Up Ed Sheeran shop selling merchandise.

We then dropped our bags off at the hotel and headed to the venue arriving in the middle of the first support act πŸ™‚ Lewis Capaldi and then The Darkness followed who were both really good- we watched these while eating some Halloumi fries πŸ™‚ Then weΒ  grabbed our seats and watched Ed Sheeran who was on the stage for an hour and 45 minutes!

The next morning we had a costa breakfast and then headed to the Made In Suffolk exhibition in the park which was really cool after which we got on the train and headed home πŸ™‚

The next Monday my Mum and I headed to Champneys for a relaxing two days at the spa πŸ™‚ Stopping off at an outlet on the way we spent the two days either chilling in the pool, reading our kindles or eating delicious food.

Β Let me know in the comments if you have ever been to Champneys or if you’re a Ed Sheeran fan πŸ™‚

Brighton Pride :)

Brighton Pride :)

On the 2nd of August my friends Barghavi, Birunda and I went up to Brighton for Brighton Pride which was so much fun! πŸ™‚ We booked an airbnb for the weekend which was absolutely lovely πŸ™‚

The first night we decided to head straight to the airbnb which was about 30 minutes from Brighton on the bus and then when we got there we quickly unpacked and headed out for dinner at Harvester which was absolutely delicious!! After dinner we went to get some groceries for breakfast and some drinks πŸ™‚ Once we got back to the airbnb we went to the beach which was only 5 minutes away from there and sat on the beach looking at the stars for a bit which was so lovely and then headed back for some drinks, board games and decided to blow up some pride balloons and do some Henna πŸ™‚

The next morning we got up and had a quick cooked breakfast and then got ready for Pride πŸ™‚ Once we were ready we wandered down to the local Beach for a photoshoot and then jumped on the bus down to Brighton πŸ™‚

When we got to Brighton we found the Brighton and Hove Beach huts and walked along the beach which was so busy!!!

After chilling on the beach for a bit we then went to find some of the Pride Celebrations which were so much fun and busy!

We then found some food at the Olive Grove in the Lanes which was delicious and there were two very cute labradors with Pride flags!

After food we wandered along to a Pride Street Party where we had some drinks and a dance for a few hours which was so much fun and then headed back to the house πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

The next morning Barghavi and I headed down to the local beach for a swim or in my case walking into the sea and then running out because it was so cold!

We then went back to the house for another amazing cooked breakfast and to get ready for the day ahead and then got the bus into Brighton πŸ™‚ When we arrived we decided to chill on the beach in Brighton for a bit which was so much fun just chilling and listening to music πŸ™‚

We then decided to take a walk along the pier where we popped into the arcade and played a game of air hockey which I lost 😦 We then headed up to the station to get the train back up to London πŸ™‚

Overall it was such a lovely weekend and I really hope that it becomes an annual thing πŸ™‚

I’m feeling 22!

I’m feeling 22!

On the 4th of July 2019 I turned 22 whilst I was in Mexico with my family πŸ™‚ On my actual birthday I spend the morning at the football watching my brother play in the medics world cup πŸ™‚ We then went to Playa del Carmen because I wanted to pop into Bath and Body works and also Sephora because we don’t have either of those brands in the UK unfortunately 😦 We then went back to the hotel and chilled in the pool before dinner at Himitsu which was my favourite restaurant in the hotel πŸ™‚

Before we went to Mexico I went out for my birthday with my friend Dorothy which was absolutely lovely- we went to Peggy Porschen which is one of my favourite places in London to have cake and just chill for a few hours πŸ™‚

On the 10th of July I went out to dinner at Eat Tokyo with my two ex-flatmates Chiara and Poon (Miss you Su!) which was so much fun πŸ™‚ The food was amazing and its always nice to catch up with them πŸ™‚

On the 14th of July I went out for lunch with Anna and Hannah who are my two best friends from high school πŸ™‚ After lunch we then went for a wander around London which was so much fun and recreated some of our old photos which was hilarious!

Finally on the 20th of July I went to see Spiderman Far from Home with my two friends Barghavi and Birunda which was amazing and the film was so good!! They then came back to mine to chill in the garden with Maya and her sister Jaz who I was looking after for the week πŸ™‚ We had pizza and wine which is always a good combination and also meant that they decided to stay over πŸ™‚ They also surprised me with a birthday cake and some desserts for reaching 1000 followers which was so sweet!!! The next morning we just chilled in the garden with the dogs and also booked an airbnb for Brighton Pride which all three of us are going to and I’m so excited for so expect a blog post to come all about Brighton Pride πŸ™‚

Thank you so much to my amazing friends and family for making my 22nd birthday so amazing and one I will never forget- Love you all ❀ ❀

Mexico 2019 <3

Mexico 2019 <3

If you have been following me for a while you will know that my family has gone to Mexico 3 times in the last 4 years and this year we decided to head back for a fourth time 😊 We stayed at the Secrets Akumal from the 26th of June to the 7th of July πŸ’•

The first few days of the holiday were spent chilling in the hotel, swimming in the pool and also swimming in the sea where we saw around 8 turtles whilst we were were there as they feed on the beach by the hotel 😊

On the 30th of June and the 1st of July we went to football as one of the reasons we decided to go to Mexico again as my oldest brother was playing in the Medics World Cup for the GB medics 😊

After the game on the 1st of July we went to a place called Casa Tortuga where we swam in Cenotes πŸ’•

The next day we went to Coba which is one of the last Mayan ruins you can actually climb up! It was very tiring but totally worth it for the view at the top 😊 We had to climb up on our hands and knees and then slide down because it was so steep!

From the 4th to the 6th we went to football as they actually got to the final and won!!! They played 6 games in 7 days which is a bit ridiculous especially in the Mexico heat!

There were so many lovely restaurants in the Secrets Akumal including a French restaurant and a place called Himitsu which was my absolute favourite πŸ™‚ Whilst we were there I decided to try Canard a L’Orange and Mussels in the French restaurant and then in Himitsu we decided to try Sake πŸ™‚

Let me know in the comments if you have ever been to Mexico πŸ™‚

A day in my life- Brighton- 4.6.19 :)

A day in my life- Brighton- 4.6.19 :)

On the 4th of June we decided to take Maya to the beach for the first time so we packed her a bag filled with treats, toys and anything else she might need, jumped in the car and headed off to Brighton. As many of you will know I absolutely love Brighton and its one of my favourite places to go πŸ™‚ When we arrived we took her straight onto the beach which she absolutely loved! She was sprinting along trying to chase the seagulls!!

After a short walk along the beach we then decided to walk along the beach-front and along to the pier where we decided to stop off for donuts which were delicious πŸ™‚

We then walked along the beachfront a bit further and came across the Brighton Bandstand which I have actually never seen before but it is absolutely beautiful so I couldn’t resist stopping to take a few photos πŸ™‚

It was around 2 o’clock by this point so we walked back towards the pier and found a little cafe/restaurant called Lucky Beach where we stopped off for lunch and were actually allowed to take Maya inside! I had a chicken burger which was absolutely delicious and the staff were all so lovely πŸ™‚

After lunch we had a walk along the lanes which was so much fun- we popped into Karen Millen, Lush and a few other shops as well πŸ™‚

After our shop in the lanes we decided to head home to avoid the traffic and Maya actually slept the whole hour car ride home!! Overall it was such a lovely day and I can’t wait to hopefully head back to Brighton again soon πŸ™‚

Let me know in the comments if you have ever been to Brighton and if you have where you would recommend I check out next time I go πŸ™‚

A week in my life: 15.4.19- 21.4.19

A week in my life: 15.4.19- 21.4.19

I have recently restarted doing the 365 project having done the project from 1st June 2017 to the 30th of June 2018. I then had a break for a while but picked the project back up again on the 24th of March 2019. I love this project and the idea behind it as it allows you to look back on your year and see all of the amazing memories and it doesn’t even have to be a massive event that happened it can be as simple as a picture of your garden where you spent the day watching Netflix in the sun. That being said I thought in the spirit of the 365 Project I would make a post about my week leading up to the Easter weekend in picture format πŸ™‚

Monday 15th April: On Monday I went to Bromley with my mum to buy some new clothes and ended up picking up a toy for Maya which we then gave to her after taking her to the vets for her first vaccinations πŸ™‚

Tuesday 16th April: After looking after Maya for the afternoon I then went out to dinner with my old flatmates Chiara and Poon at La Petit Ferme which is a French restaurant in London πŸ™‚

Wednesday 17th April: Wednesday was double trouble because I looked after Maya’s sister Brooke for the morning which was a lot of fun but also very stressful!! We then took Maya to puppy classes in the afternoon where she was very naughty but it was the first time she had gone out and interacted with other dogs so I’ll give her a pass for that one.

Thursday 18th April: There was more double trouble on Thursday because I looked after Maya’s sister Surf for the morning who was very very cute but very mischievous πŸ™‚

Friday 19th April: The Bank holiday weekend started with some amazing weather so in the morning I went to the Cafe with my Dad for breakfast which was then followed by my best friend Hannah coming round with her boyfriend Tom to meet Maya πŸ™‚ Hannah agreed to be Maya’s godmother so now she has 4 godparents to spoil her with toys and treats!

Saturday 20th April: More amazing weather so we decided to have a BBQ out in the garden and have some pimms πŸ™‚

Sunday 21st April: Easter Sunday was spent out in the garden playing catch with Maya (more like she runs away with the ball whist you chase her and repeat but we’re getting there) and then chilling in front of Netflix πŸ™‚

Let me know in the comment what you got up to in the week leading up to Easter and whether you have done the 365 project πŸ™‚

Liverpool 2019 ❀️

Liverpool 2019 ❀️

On the 30th of March I went to Liverpool with my two best friends Hannah and Anna for the weekend 😊 I met Hannah at Euston station at 7.45 ready for our 8.10 train πŸ™‚ We popped into Leon for breakfast and a coffee which we then ate on the train ❀ When we got to Liverpool at 10am we went straight to Lock and Key for brunch and I had blueberry pancakes which were so delicious 😍

After brunch we went to the Liver Bird mosaic so that we could take some photos πŸ™‚

After taking photos in front of the Liver Bird we then walked along the Waterfront and pier which was so beautiful and peaceful πŸ™‚ Whilst walking along there we found the Tate museum, the Beatles statue, The Liver Building and the Liverpool museum πŸ™‚

After walking along the Pier and Waterfront we wandered to the shops for a look around popping into Claires, Waterstones and some clothes shops πŸ™‚ By this time we were all hungry again so had dinner in GBK and then went for drinks along the waterfront and then headed back to our AirBnb for the night πŸ™‚

The next morning we headed off bright and early to get to Moose Coffee Cafe for 9am when it opened because it was guaranteed to be busy on a Sunday morning for brunch! I had Bacon and maple syrup waffles and Anna and Hannah both had pancakes πŸ™‚

After brunch we then headed to the Georgian Quarter to have a look around and found the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

56997608_376804236499308_4983950595116236800_n (1)

We then grabbed a quick Starbucks and headed to the Liverpool Cathedral because we wanted to go up the tower and see the view πŸ™‚

After the Cathedral it was around 12.30 so we headed to the station for our trains after grabbing a sandwich from M&S on the way πŸ™‚

Overall it was a whirlwind tour of the city which I thoroughly enjoyed πŸ™‚ It was lovely to be able to explore the city with two of my best friends and I hope they enjoyed themselves as much as I did πŸ™‚

Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever been to Liverpool and if you have any suggestions for places to go if I go there again πŸ™‚
