My Life is changing and I’m going to keep you updated: Chapter 1 recap and Chapter 2 aims :)

On the 9th of July I uploaded my Month 1 aims for my Changing my life series but because I took two weeks off of blogging at the start of August its been a month and a week since that post however I have had a week working hard at my Chapter two aims and continuing on from my chapter 1 aims as well šŸ™‚

Favourite quote of the month- Its ok to be a glow-stick, sometimes we have to break before we shine šŸ™‚

This month has been absolutely crazy šŸ™‚ As well as writing a blog post for every day I have also been having a life GYST so sent my laptop away to be mended because the battery was broken so didn’t have a laptop for a week and a half, went to the dentist because my front tooth had slightly chipped at the start of lockdown so I had to get that sorted, had my hair done, have had bbqs and birthdays and my Grandma flew over from Spain to come and live with us for the foreseeable future until she can find a place in England so we had to semi- quarantine ourselves for 2 weeks in the middle of July as well! I’m hoping that this month will be a bit more chill but who knows! šŸ™‚

  1. My first aim was that during Quarantine I had already cooked Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Spaghetti Carbonara, Gnocchi and Risotto and I wanted to recook the Gnocchi and the Risotto which I managed to do as i was in charge of dinner a few nights this month šŸ™‚ I also cooked a cooked breakfast for my Mum’sĀ  birthday and have added Red Thai Prawn Curry to my list of specialities šŸ™‚
  2. My second Aim was that by the start of this project I had reached 4k on the treadmill and wanted to run a 5k by the end of this month of change which I have actually managed to do! I ran a few times on the treadmill and have also run a few times with Maya one of which was a 5k!
  3. Another aspect of fitness and physical health was drinking water which I am usually terrible at but due to the heat and a new water bottle that I bought I have actually been really good at keeping up with my water intake šŸ™‚ img_6398
  4. One of my aims was that due to it being my birthday and also me ordering a load of packages that I would be having a bit of a sort out and tidy of my room which I have managed to do- my floor has never been so clean!!!Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Before:

    Packages and stuff to sort:

  5. Training wise I have been keeping up with my canine anatomy, watched a load of Battersea training videos on YT, have written notes from a few of my work webinars,Ā  wrote a blog post about my training with Maya and now Mayas training class has started up again and she has finished her season I’ve started going back to that as well and have also managed to get Maya into the water for the first time!
  6. My penultimate aim was to do something nice for one of my friends so I went onto Ebay and sent my friend Birunda two little presents just to show that I was thinking of her šŸ™‚ img_6012
  7. My final aim was to finish my blog series July-ving and thriving where I wrote a blog post everyday in July which I actually managed to do and I am so proud of myself! I also had the most views in a single month that I have ever had so thank you guys so much I hope you enjoyed the series and maybe I’ll do it again next year šŸ™‚

I have had so much fun completing these goals this month and am so excited to get started on my next set of goals for Chapter 2 šŸ™‚

  1. Following on from my first goal in Chapter 1 my first aim for Chapter 2 is that a few weeks ago when my brother and his fiancee Emma came round for a BBQ Emma had made an amazing truffle Mac and Cheese which I am hoping to recreate šŸ™‚
  2. Following on from my second goal in Chapter 1 my second aim for Chapter 2 is that I have been getting lazy the last few weeks and have only been running once a week so my aim for this chapter is to run twice a week for the whole month šŸ™‚
  3. Although I want to continue to drink lots of water I think my third aim for this chapter is going to be to wake up earlier- I have been being really lazy and waking up late so my aim for this chapter is to get up at 9am everyday šŸ™‚
  4. I’m pretty happy with my room atm so I’m going to completely change my fourth aim and make this aim to work on my finances šŸ™‚ I want to work out how much I spend so that I know realistically how much I can save and also potentially get a credit card (will not be photograph documenting this goal for obvious reasons!)
  5. I am really happy with how my training goal went so I want to continue reading and watching useful resources and also work with Maya to potentially learn a new trick and also do some agility with her this month alongside her puppy classes šŸ™‚
  6. I still love the idea of doing something nice for a friend and this month I have two particular friends in mind šŸ˜› One is moving and one has a birthday that I want to make special as she lives in Oxford so I probably won’t be able to see her 😦
  7. My final aim of the month is blog/photography related and I would absolutely love to have a few photoshoots this month as I need some photos for a blog post coming up soon about fashion and also I would love to work on my photo editing software knowledge which is currently pretty dismal!

Let me know in the comments how you think I did on my first set of goals and if you have any ideas for goals for Chapter 3 šŸ™‚

  1. Congratulations – it sounds like you have smashed every goal from Chapter One! I am excited to follow further on your journey. Definitely inspiring me to get up off the sofa and actually exercise and drink some water!!! xx
