Meet Maya 😊

On the 2nd of February our family dog Ellie passed away- she had been in our lives for 14.5 years and she was such an amazing dog that no dog will ever take her place in our hearts ❤️❤️ That being said that very night my Aunts dog Emmy had 7 gorgeous healthy puppies- 5 girls and 2 boys 😊

We went round to my aunts a few times over the coming weeks to visit the puppies and fell in love with one of the puppies called Wave who had a crinkly tail and seemed really calm and sweet 💕

On the 29th of March we went to pick her up from my Aunts house and bring her home- she howled the whole way back to our house!! When she actually got inside she walked around like she owned the place and was soon playing and running around 😊 She’s still not a fan of the car but we’re slowly but surely building it up and she seems to be getting used to it 😊

I then went away for the weekend but she had lots of adventures such as going to the garden centre, meeting my mum’s friends dog Maisie and howling all through the night so my dad ended up sleeping on the floor with her!

She’s still learning and settling in but she’s already learning her name, how to sit and that fingers and toes are not chew toys 😂 She’s currently asleep on my lap but seems to be waking up so I’ll finish up by saying Maya- welcome to the Thoroughgood family ❤️
