On the 15th of January I wrote a blog post about my favourite Disney Channel Movies which can be found here. I thought I would expand on that list and write a list of 5 more Disney Channel Movies that I loved which might not have been so well known.
- Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie- I was obsessed with Wizards of Waverly Place when I was younger and loved Selena Gomez’s character Alex so when they announced they were making a movie I was so excited! Its a great movie about family and brings the essential components of the show into the movie adding in some music by Selena Gomez and the Scene which can only be a good thing shown by the fact that this had the second biggest premiere views after High School Musical 2 πΒ
- Teen Beach Movie- One of the newer DCOM franchises which bought together Ross Lynch from R5 and Maia Mitchell I loved the music from this movie and it reminded me of the old Disney that I loved when I was younger. The movie centres around Brady and McKenzie who get sucked into their favourite movie which I think is such a cool concept πΒ
- Adventures in Babysitting- As some of you may know I love Sabrina Carpenter and actually saw her in concert last year, with the addition of Sofia Carson from Descendants I knew this was a must see movie for me π Sofia Carson and Sabrina Carpenter make a great pair and their comedic timing is great π There is also a theme of photography running through the movie with Sofia Carson’s character taking photos to document their adventure which I love πΒ
- Lemonade Mouth- One of the lesser known Disney Channel Original Movies as it was released after the big surge of Disney Channel movies such as High School Musical and Camp Rock. Bridget Mendler and Hayley Kiyoko both star in this movie which means that the music is amazing, my favourite song being More than a band πΒ
- Cadet Kelly- The oldest of all the DCOMs I have mentioned this movie came out in 2002 with Hilary Duff starring as the main character and was actually the biggest DCOM of that year π This movie was the one which started me watching DCOMs as I was watching Lizzie Mcquire quite a bit at the time so thought I would watch the new movie with Hilary Duff in and the rest is history π

My sister and I watched loved the wizards of waverly place the movie, but we were obsessed with lemonade mouth, like sooo obsessed. Such great movies xx
